Free HIV/AIDS Testing

Be it appropriated by a quorum of the Assembly of the Southern Utah University Student Association that $348 go to Queer Straight Alliance and Black Student Alliance to help fund their free HIV/AIDS testing day on December 4th.
(a) Whereas; they are hosting this event to benefit many students at Southern Utah University to be tested for HIV/AIDS.
(b) Whereas; both clubs are actively involved on the SUU campus and working together to hold this event.
(c) Whereas; they not only plan on giving HIV/AIDS tests, but also to raise awareness through panels, monologues, and a dance.
(d) Whereas; this event will coincide with World AIDS day on December 1st.
Therefore let it be resolved that $348 be allocated to Queer Straight Alliance and Black Student Alliance.
Assembly determines the bill PASSES by a vote of 11 – 0 – 0.
