Be it appropriated by a quorum of the Assembly of the Southern Utah University Student Association that $2,405 go to Alternative Winter Break- Mexico for their annual service trip to Guaymas, Mexico.
(a) Whereas; they will promote the name of the University as students act as ambassadors while offering help to communities in need, and
(b) Whereas; the trip requires participation in five service hours completed on the SUU campus as well as the surrounding community prior to the trip itself, and
(c) Whereas; the trip will benefit the 30 individual volunteers in helping them experience learning that will live forever.
Therefore let it be determined that $2,405 be allocated to Alternative Winter Break.
Assembly determines the bill PASSES by a vote of 11 – 0 – 0.
